Heirloom Tomatoes and Burrata Salad

Great and simple salad for the hot days of Summer. I will like to encourage you to start your salad from scratch and when I said from scratch i mean, get your own Tomato plant growing in your back yard. I have a few in mine and I like to grow them and teach my kids to do the same and learn how fun and beneficial this could be. Tomatoes are very easy to grow and you don't need to be a green thumb or expert in this matters. A little bit of TLC to the plant will pay you back big time. Back to the salad...

  • Heirloom Tomatoes  ( you can convine different colored tomatoes or use the same color like I did )
  • Fresh Arugula ( you can also grow it yourself, but this time a got mine from a grocery store ).
  • Burrata cheese ( also from the same store as the Arugula ).
  • Extra virgin Olive Oil.
  • Lemon Zest.
  • Salt & Pepper

P/S:  Burrata cheese is made with fresh mozzarella cheese and cream. Burrata has a harder shel from outside made with the mozzarella cheese and a very soft filling inside made with the cream. If you haven't try this delicate cheese dropped from heaven, then put it on your Must Try list.

Buon Appetito
